Advanced Engineering Technician




Scottsdale, AZ




Contract Position




$27.96-$32.96/Hour



Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.




Responsibilities:

• 
  Support engineering activities involving the design, testing, modification, and fabrication of prototype electromechanical systems and specialized test equipment.


• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to construct, troubleshoot, and calibrate various tools and systems.


• Conduct statistically-based experiments to define process parameters and document findings.


• Develop and implement solutions for process improvement and efficiency.


• Design and fabricate basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks.


• Analyze and interpret data to identify cause-effect relationships and recommend resolutions or improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience is required.

  Clearance Requirements:
  
  
  
  
  
  • 
    Active Secret Clearance is required.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Experience and Skills:
  
  
  
  
  
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  
  
  • Proficiency in the use of fabrication tools and the ability to fabricate complex hardware.
  
  
  • Strong understanding of technical theory and its application.
