The Product Warranty Analyst oversees warranty processes, claims, and daily warranty operations, ensuring compliance and established policies and procedures. They exercise independent judgment in analyzing warranty claims and data to verify accuracy and validity and manage warranty database to maintain precise and comprehensive records.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for the Customer Product Warranty process, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Exercise independent judgment in identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of warranty operations.
Help define and utilize methods, processes, and tools to deliver accurate information on time, withing the department budget efforts.
Enhance product reliability by analyzing failure data, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Identify and develop preventative measures to reduce incident / problem re-occurrence.
Develop processes and tools to maximize the effectiveness of failure-mode part analysis and minimize part analysis time.
Work with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical and commercial warranty issues.
Analyze data and develop reporting methodologies to provide the organization with meaningful tools that drive product improvement.
Develop tools and processes with assistance to ensure clear and accurate reporting of internal and external warranty status and appropriate activities.
Create warranty-related policies, procedures, work instructions, and promote application within the NA/SA warranty team.
Adhere to federal and state regulations.
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Automotive Business/Administration, Finance or Management.
Minimum of four (4) years of automotive and/or manufacturing warranty experience.
Knowledge of industry terminology, standard processes and practices, OEM warranty systems, understanding of electrical/technical systems, and the ability to learn warranty specification.
Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience using customer service software, databases, and tools.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and SalesForce software.
