Job Summary	The Social Worker Senior will closely follow patients in the Markey Outpatient setting. Will perform psycho-social evaluations, distress screenings, and assess the need for further financial, emotional and practical support. Make appropriate referrals to appropriate oncology community and nationwide resources. Help facilitate support groups and other patient-oriented programs.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities	Motivated, self-directed, flexibility, positive attitude, knowledge regarding medical social work, Microsoft Office.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?	No
Preferred Education/Experience	Master’s of Social Work plus 3 or more years related experience preferred. Experience with medical social work, oncology preferred.
