We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team and support our accounting department. This role is responsible for preparing and processing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate job cost reporting. The ideal candidate has experience in construction billing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit invoices for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Verify and reconcile billing discrepancies with project managers and clients.
Maintain and update job cost records, contracts, and change orders.
Process accounts receivable transactions and follow up on outstanding payments.
Assist in generating reports for project budgets and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams, including accounting and project management.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years in billing, accounting, or a related role (construction industry preferred).
Education: High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is a plus.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Procore, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of AIA billing, lien waivers, and construction contracts is a plus.
PAY DOE $20.00 to $23.00 Hourly
