Our client's growing company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in a temp to hire capacity. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years' experience and a comprehensive understanding of accounting as well as how to perform the following:
Full Cycle Accounts Payable
Check email daily and respond accordingly
Enter invoices into QuickBooks Desktop with a high degree of precision and accuracy, checking invoice amounts to ensure they are correct.
Perform a 3-way match with purchase orders
File invoices accordingly
Print checks and ACH (print bill stubs for ACH accounts)
File completed stubs and invoices.
Attached remittances to checks- stamp envelopes- Mail out.
Accounts Receivable
Deposit daily checks
Enter every check on Cash balance sheet with totals.
Post out daily batches to match to cash tags and deposits for that day/every day.
Apply payments to customers' accounts daily.
Balance the daily deposit to applied amount.
Post.
When invoices have been skipped in a payment, reach out to customer, and provide another copy if needed.
Address aging weekly
Qualifications
2 - 3 yrs A/P, A/R experience
Advance knowledge of QuickBooks
Understanding of payments, accounting, and basic budgeting
Proficient with Microsoft office
Ability to communicate in a timely manner as well as proper time management
Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
Independently motivated with the ability to work within a team environment
Comfortable using a computer for various task beyond general accounting
Ability to build relationships with clients and Internal Departments

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
