Position Summary: The Development Manager will oversee entitlements and land development processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving project success from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead entitlement processes for multifamily and residential projects, securing necessary approvals. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure project alignment with local regulations.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify development opportunities.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Monitor and mitigate risks throughout all phases of development.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding project progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in land development or project management within the real estate sector. - Strong knowledge of local zoning laws, regulations, and entitlement processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
