We are hiring for a DAS Project Manager to oversee the design, deployment, and integration of public safety and cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) in the Arizona market. This role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in DAS deployments, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality wireless solutions that meet regulatory and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of public safety and cellular DAS projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
Work closely with RF engineers and field teams to ensure proper system design, installation, and optimization of ERRCS (Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems) and commercial DAS solutions.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure all installations comply with NFPA, IFC, FCC regulations, AHJ requirements, and carrier specifications.
Conduct site walks, oversee installation teams, and ensure adherence to project plans and performance standards.
Collaborate with DAS equipment manufacturers (CommScope, Corning, JMA, SOLiD, Comba, Fiplex, and Nextivity, etc.), general contractors, and carriers to streamline deployments.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and project close-out documentation.
Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience managing public safety and cellular DAS deployment projects
Expertise in DAS design and optimization, including experience with iBwave, fiber optics, RF testing, and OEM-specific solutions.
Strong project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
Understanding of ERRCS design, NFPA 72/1221, IFC 510, and local permitting requirements.
Ability to travel throughout Arizona/customer region as much as 100% of the time. Possibility to travel out of state to other customer locations as much as 100% of the time.
Clean background, DMV record, and valid Driver's License
Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:Experience with AHJ coordination, grid testing, and public safety DAS certifications.
Certifications such as iBwave Level 1/2, PMP, FCC GROL, NICET, or manufacturer-specific certifications.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary: $90-100K+ per year, depending on experience (Exempt)
