Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter Mid-Level Project Manager to join our team in the real estate finance industry.This position, based in Irvine, CA, is an on-site role that requires someone who can work at a very fast pace, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrate a solid understanding of project management principles and real estate finance processes.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to the successful delivery of real estate finance projects.

Essential Functions

Project Planning & Execution:
  • Lead and manage real estate finance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Foster positive relationships across all job functions, ensuring satisfaction and long-term collaboration.

Resource Management:
  • Track project resource allocation and adjust as needed to ensure successful project completion.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and suggest improvements to enhance project delivery and success.

Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Proactively address challenges and obstacles, escalating issues to senior management, as necessary.

Team Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment by working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Competencies/Skills
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance processes, including investment analysis, lending, and underwriting.
  • Knowledge of real estate development processes, including property acquisition, financing, and construction.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain highly productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and initiative.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis for real estate transactions.
  • Experience working with lenders, investors, and contractors in the real estate finance sector.
  • Ability to articulate issues, problem-solve, and analyze with creative and outside-of-the-box thinking
  • Capability to build trusting relationships internally and externally, and elicit confidence by demonstrating reliability
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a cooperative and diverse environment
  • Expert use of Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (MBA or PMP certification preferred).
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in the real estate finance industry or a related field.
