JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key projects:
Managing team that will be Defining data quality, data access governance, data lineage.
Daily Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal data governance policies.
Establish and maintain data governance metrics and KPIs to monitor data quality and data governance effectiveness.
Facilitate cross-functional governance meetings and working groups
Work closely with business units, data stewards, data privacy, information security to identify business needs and address data-related issues in alignment with the Data & Shared Services roadmaps.
Lead the adoption of the enterprise-wide data catalog, related metadata management, data quality and data observability solutions for a specific data domain
Partner and communicate effectively across departments and stakeholders data governance's objectives, policies, and practices.
Prepare regular reports on data governance roadmap, activities and data quality metrics
Act as the key evangelist and authority on the Data Governance program and vision to our stakeholders.
Provide guidance and mentor junior members of the team, support their development and ensure feedback and performance appraisals are conducted regularly and in accordance to the organization's guidelines.
Years experience:
5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field
Required background/ Skillsets:
Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with data quality management and metadata management tools.
Expertise in data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
Confidence to dive into data, understand it inside out and how it connects to our business stakeholders.
Comfort level with ambiguity and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Solid business acumen, and critical problem-solving ability, with a capacity for strategic thinking.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
1 Major Enterprise Wide SAP Implementation (Starting with Data and Finance and rolling that out). Diane does not have anyone on her team that has done a successful SAP Implementation
10 Years of Experience - Very Seasoned Program Manager, Executive level presence and able to work up and down the organization.
