We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead and drive the transition to Covered California Medicaid/Medical within our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare systems, project management, and regulatory compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for both our patients and our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the transition program to Covered California and Medicaid/Medical.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and successful transition.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Change Management: Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards related to Covered California.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the transition process.
  • Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to staff to ensure understanding and effective implementation of new processes.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on program progress, addressing any issues or challenges promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in program/project management within the healthcare industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare systems, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification: PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
