IT Project Manager
Local to Atlanta area
Our industry leading client in the Atlanta area is looking for a dynamic Project Manager with a robust background in both traditional waterfall and agile project management. In this role you will be responsible for leading end- to- end management of Software Development and Coud infrastructure projects within a waterfall environment, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Duration: 6+- month contract with extensions and full-time conversion
Location: Sandy Springs, GA, Responsible for working onsite 2-3 days a week
Rate: $65-$70 hourly W2
Qualifications for the IT Project Manager:
Experience overseeing and managing project deliverables within a waterfall environment, ensuring timelines, budgets and scope are met
Strong experience leading and supporting teams through the transition from waterfall to Agile practices, serving as a change agent
Proficient in Project Management tools such as MS Project and Jira
Ability to ensure transparent and timely communication regarding project progress, risks and challenges
Experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including scheduling resource allocation and risk assessment
Identifying, analyzing and proposing improvements to existing processes to align with Agile best practices
Strong experience facilitating resolution of conflicts or obstacles that could impede the projects transition to Agile
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Bachelors Degree
PMP Certification strongly preferred
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
