Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support user identity and access management, provisioning automation, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to acquire institutional knowledge, optimize access control, and transition to an automated provisioning system. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant identity management practices within the organization.The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining dashboards, troubleshooting technical issues, performing audits, and collaborating with security and IT teams to enhance access management processes. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:User Account ManagementPerform onboarding, offboarding, and access modifications across systems.Track and monitor user account management workflows against service level agreements (SLAs).Ensure appropriate permissions, access roles, and user attributes based on job functions.Access Control & SecurityConfigure and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) mechanisms.Define user roles, entitlements, and access policies according to security standards.Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and least privilege principles.Dashboard Creation & Data AnalysisDevelop role-based dashboards with relevant metrics and visualizations.Analyze data trends to identify patterns, access risks, and process improvements.Technical Troubleshooting & SupportDiagnose and resolve provisioning and access management issues.Investigate unauthorized access incidents and implement corrective actions.Provide user support and training on identity management processes.Reporting & Compliance AuditsGenerate user access reports to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.Maintain audit trails that track access history and system changes.Conduct regular access reviews to validate user entitlements.Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with the Information Security team to ensure compliance and security best practices.Coordinate with IT teams for seamless integration of identity management solutions.Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems (Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Identity Manager, or similar).Proficiency in managing user roles, permissions, and access across applications.Experience in monitoring system health, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting access issues.Strong knowledge of security technologies including SSO, MFA, and compliance frameworks.Expertise in compliance reporting, auditing processes, and security best practices.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with request management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow preferred).Familiarity with security best practices, regulatory compliance, and threat awareness.Ability to challenge ideas constructively and communicate recommendations professionally.Additional Information:This position is classified as "Essential Staff" and requires availability during emergencies.Candidates must complete Security Awareness Training within 30 days of hire.Level II Background Check required for all selected candidates. recblid 1ds8u8jjnssb7i9jlpwknfsn010jc7
