We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Superintendent to oversee a groundbreaking ground-up multifamily development in Fort Myers, FL. Position Overview:
As the Lead Superintendent, you will play a key role in the successful execution of this large-scale multifamily construction project. With your extensive experience and leadership skills, you will ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will oversee the day-to-day field operations, ensuring a smooth flow of construction activities and managing a team of subcontractors and workers. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a productive and safe work environment, driving the project to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site activities for the ground-up multifamily project, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and vendors, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with regulations.
Develop and update construction schedules, addressing issues promptly.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Conduct daily site inspections and meetings to track progress and resolve challenges.
Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Act as the liaison between the field and office, providing regular project updates.
Mentor and lead field staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
10-15 years of construction experience, including 5+ years as a Lead Superintendent on large-scale multifamily or commercial projects.
Experience managing projects with budgets of $50 million to $75 million.
Expertise in construction processes, field operations, scheduling, and cost control.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in reading blueprints, contracts, and construction documents.
Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
Skilled in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required).
