Operate and run a forklift, skid steer in an industrial plant environment.
Accurately interpret and apply information from work orders, job orders, specifications, blueprints, ISO's or other drawings and recognize basic blueprint terms and symbols for job application
Identify, recognize and demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools appropriate for the job
Recognize various materials used in piping systems and demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate material handling techniques
Select and safely use appropriate equipment for the job which may include (but not limited to) graders, front-end loaders, bulldozers, manlifts, fork lifts, and company trucks
Demonstrate knowledge and skills in safe rigging practices
Identify, explain and perform crane signals
Demonstrate ability to perform equipment inspections and daily reporting procedures consistent with the company's and manufacturer's requirements
Demonstrate ability to accurately read load charts
Identify functions, operating characteristics and limitation of various pieces of heavy equipment
Demonstrate ability to recognize and effectively communicate machinery maintenance problems
Bore bolt holes in timber, masonry or concrete walls, using power drill
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
