$2,000 Sign-On Bonus | Elementary Music Teacher (K–5) | $56,000–$65,000 | 191-day Agreement

Community Leadership Academy, one of Colorado’s high-performing elementary schools, is seeking a dedicated Elementary Music Teacher to lead our K–5 music program. If you’re passionate about helping children grow through music appreciation, performance, and knowledge, this is your stage.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $56,000–$65,000 (based on experience)


• $2,000 sign-on bonus


• 7 paid personal days annually

Your Day-to-Day As our Elementary Music Teacher, you’ll:

• Teach general music classes for students in grades K–5 using a variety of musical activities such as singing, movement, instrument playing, and listening


• Inspire students to enjoy, appreciate, and perform music through engaging, age-appropriate instruction


• Develop and implement a balanced music curriculum including music appreciation, harmony, rhythm, and exploration


• Provide individual and small group support to adapt instruction to the needs of each student


• Use traditional and contemporary music literature to enhance student learning


• Maintain and care for all music instruments, equipment, and materials


• Evaluate student growth, performance, and contributions to group performances


• Maintain lesson plans, gradebooks, and regular assessments


• Attend meetings and collaborate with staff and families


• Lead or support school music performances and enrichment events

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)


• One of the following in elementary education:
  
  • Colorado teaching license or endorsement
  
  
  • 36 credit hours in content
  
  
  • Passing score on approved Praxis exams


• Strong knowledge of elementary music instruction


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills


• Prior experience teaching or working with children strongly preferred
