Onsite

This role has an onsite work schedule requiring the person to be in the onsite location 5 days a week.

What You Will Do


  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines including mills, lathes, and routers
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Program machining cycles and help develop processes using CAM software, G-code and conversational programming for CNC controls
  • Perform quality checks, inspections and post-processing operations on manufactured parts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, maintenance, and production metrics
  • Support engineering projects by assisting with process development, fabricating prototypes and test fixtures
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures - maintain a clean and organized work environment by conducting applicable regular preventative maintenance
  • Develop training processes for basic machine operator set up and troubleshooting skills
  • Collaborate with design engineers to improve manufacturability of parts
  • Independent small scale project work in collaboration with engineering and production teams to develop robust machining solutions for both existing and prototype parts
What You Wil Bring


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery.
  • Technical degree or certification in machining, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Solidworks, Mastercam, PowerMill or similar).
  • Working knowledge of G-code programming, CNC control systems and machine setup; including tool setting & fixture selection for 5-axis machining.
  • Experience with precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, laser tool setters, machine probing tools, CMM).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience with additive manufacturing or 3D printing technologies is a plus.

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to stand for extended periods during standard shift
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machine tools & inspection/measuring devices
  • Visual acuity necessary for inspecting parts and reading technical documents
