The state of New York provided $60 million to establish a School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Binghamton University. The school, which enrolled its inaugural PharmD class in 2017, is now housed in a new, state-of-the-art 105,000-square-foot building dedicated to research and education and located at the University's new Health Sciences Campus. The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Job Description:
Budget Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor - 12 months
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor and Executive Director of Experiential Education. This individual will provide leadership, vision and oversight of required clinical experiences for all students. This 12-month position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant experiential team that oversees preceptors and sites in the Southern Tier, central and western New York, New York City Metro area, and Long Island, as well as Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate is a self-directed, results-oriented individual who leads by example and works harmoniously within a team. This position leads an independent division of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, reports directly to the Dean, and will collaborate closely with the chair and faculty of the Department of Pharmacy Practice to provide high-quality experiential education to students. The Executive Director has oversight of an independent budget.
The selected candidate will hold a faculty appointment at a rank consistent with their experience in the non-tenure track.
