Job Summary:
The Environmental Services discharge cleaning staff member provides discharge cleaning of in-patient rooms according to hospital cleaning protocol. Environmental Services staff are responsible for providing a safe and clean environment at all times while observing safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards and departmental policies as listed, but not limited to this job description. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 1 year cleaning or relevant experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Requires ability to read, write or understand English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff while performing housekeeping duties.
