What will you be doing?
Circana is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to help build a public company caliber Financial Reporting function amid ongoing transformational changes. This role will support the preparation of the financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures for quarterly and annual management reporting and future SEC reports. The Financial Reporting Manager will also assist in researching and documenting complex accounting and reporting issues, ensuring the Company's compliance with all applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements. Other areas of responsibility will include supporting the monthly close of equity compensation, analyzing financial statement fluctuations, and developing advanced NetSuite reporting. This role will report to the VP, Financial Reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements for the Company, including the equity statement and cash flow statement.
Support the preparation of the financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures for quarterly and annual management reporting as well as other financial regulatory filings, as needed.
Research, document, and discuss complex accounting and reporting issues related to significant transactions, ensuring the Company's compliance with all applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close of equity compensation, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and Company policy.
Analyze period-over-period fluctuations in financial statement balances and provide insightful commentary of key business drivers and trends.
Develop advanced NetSuite reporting to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's financial reporting and accounting records.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure the integrity of all financial information.
Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support to ensure successful audit outcomes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system integrations meet accounting and reporting needs.
Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required)
CPA certification (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
At least 2+ years in a role focused on SEC reporting for a global company
2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm servicing U.S. public companies
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting standards, and SEC reporting requirements
Experience with Workiva, NetSuite, and Adaptive (preferred)
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $115,000 - 130,000.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay. (10%)
