Computer World Services Corp. (CWS) is seeking qualified candidates to support an engineering effort in the National Capital Region (NCR). The work scope is to plan, design, test, build, implement, deploy, and transition Information Technology (IT) solutions to meet various customer requirements in the NCR. Selected candidates will provide customers with seamless transitions to leading edge solutions which meet security requirements and provide operations and maintenance for development and test environments and provide specialized support for mission specific systems and applications.
The Tririga System Development - Systems Engineer is responsible for the development, enhancement, effective deployment and Tier 3 & 4 support for the TRIRIGA application.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Researching system problems
Vendor support coordination
Upgrades and integration with other applications
Reviews requirements and functional designs and develops and implements complex solutions using internal and external application tools
Conducts development activities in accordance with the software development lifecycle and defined change control and compliance procedures
Provide support for the expansion of TRIRIGA program capabilities, and report development using tools bundled with the Maximo/TRIRIGA application
Engaging with and mentoring junior developers, administrators, and providing development estimates to project team. Provide liaison support to the Project Management Office.
Education & Experience
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related major field of study
Must have the ability to manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in assigned program. Additional experience should include:
Experience with the latest TRIRIGIA Application Platform V3.2.1 or latest architecture and is able to use the TRIRIGA Application Platform toolset to create and customize the TRIRIGA application is required
Experience in TRIRIGA tools for developing the User Experience (Form Layout, State Actions, Queries, Portal Sections).
Experience with Report/Query techniques
Experience with Applying business logic through use of workflows
Experience with how TRIRIGA Security works
Working knowledge of operating systems
Experience with Oracle, SQL, RDBMS relational databases
Experience in State Transition Families
Experiencing in building Synchronous and Asynchronous Workflows
Experience with designing Portals and Portal Sections, Navigation Items and Collections, TRIRIGA reports and queries, Form, Smart, Query, and Multi-tab sections
Possess an advanced and thorough understanding of IT concepts, including database concept structures software/application development techniques and testing techniques
Object Oriented Java development experience
Experience with XML data structure and application constructs
Java script programming skills
Knowledge and experience with SQL query language, shell scripting and data file transfer techniques and tools
Experience in TRIRIGA Portfolio, Capital Project, Real Estate &Lease Property Management, Space Management, CAD integrator
Experience with Oracle, RDBMS
Knowledge of TRIRIGA integration with other application like Maximo
Minimum Six (6) or more years of TRIRIGA experience in developing state of the art software applications that solve complex business problems. Must have experience working as part of large and small teams and understand the software development life cycle. Knowledge of algorithms, programming languages, optimizations techniques, and running times is required. Must be able to work independently and assist other junior application developers as needed.
Experience working in agile software development environments
Certifications
IBM Certified Application Development - TRIRIGA Application Platform V3.2.1 or latest version
CompTIA Security +, or higher
Security Clearance
Active DOD security clearance (SECRET)
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
Onsite support within government facilities located across the National Capital Region (NCR)
