Job Description:

The Enterprise Network Architect is the subject matter expert (SME) in Network infrastructure and Cloud connectivity services. The Enterprise Network Architect is a lead role for network modernization, design, implementation, Public Cloud connectivity, and issue resolution in alignment with business needs. Also responsible for network documentation, presentations, technical road maps, and configuration standards. The Enterprise Network Architect mentors the Systems network engineers to handle advanced support issues and functional management of the network.


What You Will Do:

  • Design and execution of network infrastructure projects involving LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, DM-VPN, and Cloud services.
  • Design and maintain the WAN Optimization for all regions for the best performance.
  • Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining all ABS's network diagrams for Cloud, Hub, and Leaf sites.
  • Provide network security support and solution in the design, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise implementations.
  • Deliver Network solutions, design, integration, and deployment support for enterprise cloud implementations with Azure Firewall, Virtual networks, Express Routes, and Virtual network gateways.
  • Partner with outside network vendors to solve new and current products to resolve network issues.
  • Review and determine the policies on the deployed solutions are effective, relevant, and updated.
  • Implementing security framework, best practices, and standards globally, and responsible for creating near- & long-term roadmaps and strategies aligned to the business initiatives and changes.
  • Maintaining security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and training network engineers.
  • Provide technical knowledge and collaborate with IMS teams on new projects.
  • Serve as a trusted adviser to business stakeholders by understanding core processes and priorities.
  • Assist the IMS teams in troubleshooting end-user connectivity and latency issues at local and remote locations.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating all Network Management/Monitoring tools.
  • Maintains technical expertise consistent with changes in technology and company needs.
  • Follow the IMS Change management process and provide direction/advice on all network-related changes.

What You Will Need:


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or a related field, from an accredited university. An advanced degree or comparable (10 years) on-the-job experience is also required.
  • 10+ Years' experience in Network Infrastructure Design, Implementation, and Maintenance required.
  • 5+ Years' experience in Azure Network Infrastructure and Azure firewall Architecture required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience designing and maintaining wide area network infrastructure, including Cisco IOS, LACP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN, and DM-VPN.
  • Experience with Cisco WLCs and ISE.
  • Experience with Aruba Wireless, Aruba Central, and Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager (CPPM).
  • A10 experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Voice, including SIP, CUAC, and CUCM.
  • Experience designing and maintaining local and wide area network (LAN\WAN) infrastructures, including TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, switches, and fiber optic cabling.
  • Experience with Solarwinds Orion and network monitoring is a plus.
  • Team player with good communication skills who works well with users.
  • Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.

It Would Be Nice If You Have:

  • CCNA, CCNP, or related computing environment certifications
  • CCIE in Routing and Switching is preferred.
  • Palo Alto certification is a plus.
