Volt is immediately hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech in Erie, PA.
As a Maintenance Tech, you will:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in injection molding machines and related equipment.
Perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance tasks efficiently.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Repair and maintain building, grounds, and facility infrastructure.
Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and system controls.
Interpret blueprints and schematics.
Proactively identify and implement new maintenance tasks.
Contribute to improving workplace layout and efficiency.
Advise management on procedural improvements.
Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
Perform all tasks in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures.
Perform all tasks in compliance with company hand book.
Communicate effectively with personnel across shifts.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in plastics injection molding or similar manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of injection molding operations and maintenance practices.
Proficiency in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and system controls troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
Basic math and computer skills.
Supervisory experience a plus.
Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour.
