Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech in Erie, PA.


As a Maintenance Tech, you will:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Repair and maintain building, grounds, and facility infrastructure.
• Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and system controls.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proactively identify and implement new maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to improving workplace layout and efficiency.
• Advise management on procedural improvements.
• Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
• Perform all tasks in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures.
• Perform all tasks in compliance with company hand book.
• Communicate effectively with personnel across shifts.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in plastics injection molding or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of injection molding operations and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and system controls troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Supervisory experience a plus.

Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
