The opportunity:
The Title IX Coordinator will report to the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and has primary responsibility for overseeing the College's Title IX efforts.
The Title IX Coordinator will directly oversee the Associate Director of Title IX. In addition, Swarthmore has a team of four Deputy Title IX Coordinators (affiliated with the following areas: Student Affairs, Office of the Provost, Human Resources, and Athletics) who will complement the work of the Title IX Coordinator by providing education, training, and support for all members of the campus community around questions related to sexual violence and harassment as well as alcohol and drug use. The Title IX Coordinator will work closely with Student Affairs, Office of General Counsel, Office of the Provost, Athletics, Human Resources, Public Safety, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and academic departments to ensure that reports are addressed consistently and that community members are aware of processes and resources available through the Title IX office.
The Title IX Coordinator will also be tasked with communicating policy changes or relevant trends to key stakeholders, including the Board of Managers, President's Staff, students, faculty, and staff.
