The Remote SEC Audit Manager will manage the audit of client engagements and ensure compliance with PCAOB standards. The successful candidate will need to possess a robust understanding of SEC and CPA regulations and have previous experience performing audits.
Position Overview:The Remote SEC Audit Manager will lead the full-cycle audit process, from initial scoping and planning to post-implementation evaluations and reporting. The Manager will manage the performance of audits, as well as review audit deliverables, and assess key risk areas. The Manager will also provide feedback and guidance to other team members.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements, including developing audit plans, scoping, and providing guidance for the engagement team
Perform audit procedures and review the work of other audit staff
Ensure compliance with PCAOB standards and other applicable regulations
Identify and assess key risk areas within engagements
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Provide internal and external reporting, as needed
Ensure completion of audit engagements within deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
CPA certification required
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of SEC and PCAOB regulations
Previous experience performing audits
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with remote working tools and technologies
