Job Description:

International Motors LLC is seeking a Sr Project Engineer in Lisle, IL with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 6 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 8 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR Phd degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities. Required Skills: Derive dynamics models, select appropriate control algorithms, simulate, rapid prototype and tuning of control algorithm using MATLAB, Simulink Dspace tools, Vector tools etc.; Work with product verification and validation, and/or customers using quality assurance processes, performance metrics, and user feedback to ensure systems and components perform as needed; Implement Control Algorithm using Software tools like MATLAB and Simulink to control the actuators to perform the desired operation; Document Control specification in Polarion to streamline the software development process and ensure compliance with regulatory standards; Lead Design/Testing activities to add new features on the agriculture/ construction equipment; Implement Control Algorithm using software tools like Robot operating system (ROS) and Python. 5% international and 15% domestic travel required. 40% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of Lisle, IL.
