Key Responsibilities
Manage the project plan from start to finish, staying ahead of issues to ensure success.
Oversee the project schedule, cash flow, and budget for predictable and successful outcomes.
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
Lead and develop the project team, including direct and indirect reports.
Ensure rigorous adherence to project processes.
Additional Duties
Learn and follow company standards of quality, safety, and best practices.
Lead project teams, anticipate risks, and solve problems.
Understand project details by reading plans, specifications, and contracts.
Utilize prefabrication and other enhancement practices.
Manage project meetings and utilize Lean construction concepts.
Forecast project profit and loss with senior management.
Manage financial aspects of contracts and ensure accurate cost allocation.
Follow procurement practices for materials and subcontracts.
Allocate resources effectively with the Superintendent and Material/Equipment Coordinator.
Manage subcontractor contracts and performance.
Handle project-related correspondence and documentation.
Manage scope changes and process change orders timely.
Day-to-Day Projects
New Construction: Oversee planning, execution, and completion.
Commercial Projects: Manage commercial building projects.
Schools: Lead construction projects for educational institutions.
Hospitals: Handle hospital construction, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Solar Projects: Manage solar energy projects.
Servicing: Oversee service and maintenance projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and effective team player.
Applied electrical experience and knowledge is a plus.
