Position Overview The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful completion of construction projects. This role will require a strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to assist with overseeing construction and mechanical building systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders
Track project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
Assist with managing construction and mechanical building systems
Negotiate contracts and change orders with suppliers and subcontractors
Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts
Provide administrative support to the Project Manager
Qualifications
Previous experience in project management or construction management
Strong understanding of mechanical building systems, including HVAC
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong administrative skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
