What You Need to Know
Genesis Products is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Edgebanding Machine Operator for our wood panel processing manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• 
  Operating and Setting Up Edgebanders: Configure machine settings such as temperature, speed, and glue application to ensure precise edge banding.


• 
  Quality Control: Inspect finished panels for proper edge application, alignment, and adhesion to meet company standards.


• 
  Material Management: Ensure the correct edge banding materials are loaded and adjusted for different panel specifications.


• 
  Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify machine issues promptly and coordinate with the Maintenance Department.


• 
  Production Monitoring: Maintain accurate production records including output data, material usage, and downtime logs.


• 
  Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment by following proper operational procedures.


• 
  Team Collaboration: Work closely with inspectors and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and consistent quality output.

  Edgebander Machine Operation: Proficiency in operating edgebanding equipment with precision and efficiency.

  Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to machinery.

  Attention to Detail: Strong focus on ensuring quality control during production runs.


• 
  Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift materials up to 50 pounds, and handle repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.

  Production Workflow Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving wood panels or similar materials.
