This team is responsible for designing and implementing next-generation systems, ensuring seamless integration between ERP, sales, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and data platforms.
The Supply Chain and Materials Solution architect will focus on the design and implementation of the ERP Supply Chain and Materials modules to optimize inventory, procurement, and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and configure ERP Inventory Management, Procurement, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management modules.
Develop and implement inventory control strategies, including demand planning and forecasting.
Configure procurement processes, including vendor management and purchase order processing.
Design and implement warehouse management solutions, including inbound and outbound logistics.
Integrate ERP with logistics providers and other supply chain partners.
Experience with implementations of EDI, and other supply chain integrations.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
7 years of IT industry experience, preferably in manufacturing/supply chain domains.
5 years in a solution role with hands-on experience designing and implementing ERP and business system solutions.
Extensive experience with ERP Supply Chain Management and Materials modules.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
Experience with inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
APICS certification preferred.
Experience architecting solutions based on off-the-shelf software with customization capabilities.
Background in cloud-based ERP deployments is highly desirable.
Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and analytics platforms.
Key Competencies:
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary functional expert in the Supply Chain and Materials area during the ERP system implementation.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Lead workshops and discussions to gather detailed business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and document them thoroughly.
Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure the ERP solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and the overall enterprise architecture.
Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the solution meets requirements and performs as expected.
Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the ERP solution.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Enterprise Architect, other functional architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and communication.
Issue Resolution & Support: Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the ERP system.
Stay Updated: Remain current on the latest ERP system features, updates, and best practices.
Data Migration Support: Assist in defining data migration requirements and validating migrated data.
