Tax Manager - Real Estate at Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Los Angeles, California

Job Description:

Growing real estate investment firm located near West Los Angeles is looking for a Manager of Tax on a contract-to-hire basis. While working closely with the executive management and corporate stakeholders, the Tax Manager will be responsible for corporate (Federal, State, and Income) filings, analyzing and completing all filings associated with the firm's real estate funds, performing tax documentation, tax contingencies, tax calculations, and consolidations. The Tax Manager will review tax related accounting transactions, compile tax reporting packages, and help lead tax audits. The Tax Manager will perform tax compliance reviews, as well as conduct research on complex tax pronouncements.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.


• 4+ years of tax experience.


• Master's in Taxation and CPA is preferred.


• Public accounting experience is ideal, but not required.


• Commercial real estate experience and knowledge of Yardi is a plus.


• Strong communication, analytical, and systems skills.


• Pay, $50 - 55/hr, $120 - 135k upon conversion.
