Provide college and career readiness coaching services to students enrolled in job training programs. Assist students in identifying goals and mapping out a plan to achieve them.
Support participants in all aspects of their job search, including assistance with employment applications, interview preparation and follow up, onboarding, understanding dress codes, and securing reliable transportation.
Collaborate with job training instructors to develop and deliver instruction on job readiness related topics such as interview preparation, resolving conflicts at work, and professional communication.
Conduct outreach to employers in key industries such as hospitality, technology, and healthcare. Promote engagement by inviting employers to act as guest speakers, provide site tours, and conduct mock interviews.
Collaborate with employer partners to support student job placements and retention.
Strengthen partnerships with other workforce development agencies
Manage input of all data and documentation pertaining to job training activities, coaching/advising, and job/education placement data.
Assist with the completion of quarterly reports for public and private funders.
Other duties as needed.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Services related field preferred.

Ability to connect with and relate to both community members and employers.
Experience in healthcare, hospitality, and/or technology a plus.
