Osborne Construction Company (OCC) seeks a dedicated Quality Control Manager/Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and maintain an effective quality control system to ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
Position Requirements:
Minimum five years of experience managing construction Quality Control Programs.
Familiarity with the USACE Three-Phase Quality Control process.
USACE QC Certification required (OCC will facilitate training).
No degree is needed for this role!
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
ICC Inspector Certification desirable (OCC will support the certification process).
Compensation: $90K - $130K DOE
Position Responsibilities:
Manage the submittal review and approval process.
Organize preparatory meetings for each Definable Feature of Work.
Conduct Initial and Follow-Up Inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Attending coordination meetings with stakeholders.
Track and resolve construction deficiencies.
Produce Daily Reports and submit them to the client.
Coordinate and supervise Special Inspectors and AHJ inspections.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Stop work if necessary to enforce contract compliance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Prior quality control experience on military or equivalent projects is desirable.
Industrial experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and management abilities.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) gate pass (if applicable).
