Small, busy land surveying company specializing in residential mortgage surveys for purchases and refinances. Work experience with land surveying is a REQUIREMENT.
Candidate should be professional with experience in an office setting and have excellent computer skills, customer service skills, phone skills and typing skills. Candidate will train with owner and other office staff to learn all functions of the office and work with other employees as a team.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Answer incoming phone calls, work with our office email throughout the day and learning the frontline of new orders coming in and how to manage them and respond to clients with quotes, properties in flood zones, etc. Researching properties on county websites, platting, flood zoning, pulling survey benchmarks for field crews, etc. Self-confidence, self-direction and an ability to learn at a fast pace are CRITICAL attributes. (relevant experience in the field of land surveying is a requirement).
We need an upbeat, energetic, FOCUSED, DEPENDABLE, organized, positive individual who is able to learn quickly, can multi-task and be a team player with great work ethic. Egos are checked at the door.
Old school work ethic applies to this office. Social media, cellular phone use (except for communication with family or emergencies) and outside distractions will not be tolerated.
Hours are 8:30am - 5:00ish (may go past this if needed). We do not punch a time clock. NON-SMOKING, DRUG-FREE OFFICE (background checks are completed).
Own transportation and flexibility to stay late is needed.
