Position Description:

ASMG Services, LLC. Is seeking a skilled IT Support person to add to our team. This is an in-person position providing technical assistance/support to our end users while maintaining, configuring and monitoring desktop systems and peripherals throughout our locations. This position will function as an integral part of our technical support team, including answering phone support calls, coordinating problem resolution and documenting solutions and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical assistance for all IT-related hardware (computers, peripherals, phones, AV equipment, printers, copiers, networking hardware, webcams, etc.) and desktop software systems
  • Provide technical assistance with cloud-based applications and systems
  • Provide education/training for supported systems to end users
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher tiers or vendors as needed
  • Utilize RMM solution for monitoring, updating, preventative maintenance and configuration of supported systems
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Install, monitor, troubleshoot and update system security software and ensure company systems adhere to security policies and best practices
  • Work independently and/or within a team to accomplish IT Projects as assigned
  • Maintain and update technical documentation and procedures
  • Track and manage IT assets, ensuring proper documentation for equipment usage and location
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of supported applications, tools and IT systems
  • Ensure that application usage adheres to company policy and best practices
  • Perform other related jobs as assigned


Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-4 of experience in an IT Support role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other common business applications
  • Knowledge of M365 environment, including SharePoint, Azure and Entra ID
  • Experience with AV equipment, video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and basic AV troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of networking hardware, concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Knowledge of desktop hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
  • Knowledge of IT Security concepts and best practices
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing tasks engagements
  • The ability to travel to remote sites to provide in person IT support
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • A friendly and upbeat personality


Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+/Network+ or equivalent
  • Experience using remote support tools


Work Conditions

Office setting with controlled temperature and minimal noise. Incumbent must be able to sit for extended periods of time and tolerate working at a computer for most of their work duties.
