Sr. Developer - Salesforce at Horizontal Talent in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Description:

Are you a seasoned Salesforce Developer looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN for a 12-month contract. This role is perfect for someone with extensive experience in Salesforce Service Cloud Development, particularly with Salesforce Flow, and a passion for creating innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement business and technical IT solutions using appropriate software development life cycle methodologies.


• Develop and deploy Apex classes, triggers, test methods, and Lightning web components to meet business requirements.


• Champion development and integration standards, best practices, and deliverables.


• Collaborate with the team to deliver processes and components that can be maintained by the business using native features and functions.


• Interact with customers to understand the business environment and technical context.


• Participate in standard business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.


• Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems.


• Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of IT solutions across multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies.


• Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools, and techniques.

Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development.


• Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud Development, including Salesforce Flow, Apex, and LWC.


• Experience with Salesforce's new chat platform, Messaging in App in Web, and Experience Cloud for customer service portals.


• Proficiency in building integrations between Salesforce and other platforms using Apex REST APIs or other integration ETL tools.


• Ability to develop and debug LWC components.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a customer service environment using chat and/or messaging platforms.


• Confidence in reviewing code built by other developers and identifying issues.


• Familiarity with assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, knowledge engineering, or legacy evolution.
