Description:
One of our clients in the insurance industry is looking to hire a Machine Learning Operations Data Engineer IV


Direct hire, full-time


Fully onsite in Johnston, RI


Key Responsibilities:


Lead refactoring of R codebase to Python


Design and implement scalable MLOps solutions


Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML models


Configure and manage MLflow on Databricks


Implement monitoring systems and alerts for ML models


Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth ML model integration


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field


3+ years in MLOps, data engineering, or software development


Strong proficiency in Python and R


Extensive experience with Databricks and MLflow


Experience with Azure (must-have), AWS, or GCP


Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, DVC, Pachyderm


Technical Skills:


Python, R, Spark SQL, PySpark


Pandas, scikit-learn, tidyverse, glm, caret


MLflow, Databricks, Delta Lake


CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes


Monitoring and alerting systems


Soft Skills:


Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


Excellent communication abilities


Effective collaboration in a fast-paced environment


Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)


Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)


Familiarity with data versioning tools (DVC, Pachyderm)


Experience with automated testing frameworks for ML models


Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
