 Williams Form Engineering has been a leader in manufacturing quality products for the Construction and Fastener Industries for over 80 years. Our construction products are divided into three main categories: Concrete Forming Hardware and Accessories; Rock and Concrete Anchor Bolts; and Post Tensioning Systems. Description

Williams Form Engineering has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Specialist within our San Diego, CA manufacturing location.  This position will work on the creation, review, and closing of manufacturing jobs, part maintenance, job costing, and other inventory tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and process all sales and change orders.
  • Utilize internal systems to add Bill of Materials and Operations.
  • Review and maintain all stock levels.
  • Balance and Closing of Jobs
  • Reviewing stock transfer requests and ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Monitoring the movement of production materials and reviewing production reporting, including volume produced and consumption of materials to assess completeness and accuracy of transactions
  • Monitoring and creating production paperwork required for outside processors along with keeping track of materials being shipped and received to ensure necessary transactions are completed
  • Communicating with procurement regarding due dates and timeframes for vendor-related products
  • Actively participate in the year-end inventory
  • Attending the daily production meeting when needed
  • Assist with material and/or quantity adjustments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • BA or 2+ years’ experience
  • Knowledge of Epicor ERP system or similar
  • Working knowledge with Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Math logic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with others
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Leadership skills/ability to teach
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
