Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Cook in the Greenfield Substance Use Recovery programs at Behavioral Health Network!
Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Greenfield Substance Use Recovery programs with the following:
Adhering to kitchen compliance standards set by the Department of Public Health.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary food preparation environment.
Ordering food, planning menus, and preparing nutritious and healthy meals for the individuals served using clear and appropriate communication to all parties.
Transporting food to other sites, as needed.
Maintaining their ServSafe certification.
Learning how to work independently, manage a food budget, do menu planning, and maintain a kitchen to DPH standards and regulations.
Who are we?
BHN's Greenfield, MA campus includes designated substance abuse disorder treatment centers, which provide acute treatment services (ATS) and clinical stabilization services (CSS) as well as additional services to support recovery. These varied residential rehabilitation services help adults working to overcome drug and alcohol addiction and meet co-occurring mental health and behavioral health needs.

What are we looking for in a Cook?
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (preferred).
Food preparation experience in a program (preferred).
ServSafe certification (preferred).
Valid Driver's License (required).
Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration.
Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems (required).
