Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors
Supports operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
Supports and executes capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
Plan and schedule maintenance activities to align with production goals.
Assures compliance with Company's EAM platform
Supports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
Drives site's preventative maintenance program
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
Assists with maintenance parts inventory including procurement
Provides guidance on training employees
Other duties may be assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blueprints
Knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and industry standards
Able to use technical equipment and tools to trouble shoot many problems associated with plant equipment
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Computer literate
Skills in work priorities
Some understanding of drawings and or procedures that have to do with maintaining equipment/ building side of plant operations
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting
The expected salary range for this position is $117,000 - $135,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
