We are excited to share we are looking for a site EHS Manager to join our team! In this role, our site EHS Manager is responsible for providing leadership and continuous improvement for the Sites EHS function. Responsible for implementing the agreed performance metrics, ensuring full compliance to all applicable laws and regulations that are applicable for the Site, ensuring full compliance to corporate standards, assessing and improving the EHS organization, contributing to and implementing policies, procedures, and infrastructure, and leading internal and external audits.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure full compliance to all applicable EHS laws and regulations for the Site
Contribute to the development of cross-functional strategies and plans that ensure the success of the company's EHS improvement roadmap and lead local roll-out of these initiatives
Lead the Site EHS community - Teach, Coach, Direct and Inform
Foster a culture that supports the organization's vision, mission, and values
Identify and implement ways to instill an EHS as a Core Value mindset
Build strong business relationships and work collaboratively across multiple functions and with the broader EHS community worldwide
Contribute to leveraging best practices and standardizing processes and procedures across all manufacturing sites (OneLoparex)
Evaluate new and existing regulations and standards to ensure the quality assurance protocols fulfill requirements
Assume ownership of government, customer, system, internal and other relevant audits
Demonstrate a sense of urgency and drive teams forward
Performs other duties as assigned
JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in EHS or related industrial field, required
10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years leading local EHS
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred
Expert knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
Proven ability to drive EHS continuous improvement, performance, and cultural transformation
Progressive experience in EHS and leadership roles in manufacturing
Ability to use data for problem solving and plan making, with a solid understanding of statistical concepts and methods for appropriate application and analysis
Thorough understanding of EHS standards and methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
SECONDARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cross site strategic leadership (e.g. COE)
Gathering, consolidating, and disseminating global safety data
Some travel required
