You will join an expert and motivated team responsible for crafting the next generation of Automotive and Industrial Architectures. This is an exciting new FuSa engineering role within Arm's Solution Engineering Group where you will deliver outstanding solution products for one of the most extraordinary and successful companies in the game.
You will support Arm Automotive projects from early development to successful assessment and certification while working with top engineering, product, and functional safety experts.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of a system or product by identifying potential failures, analyzing risks, and defining safety mitigations throughout the product development lifecycle, adhering to relevant safety standards like ISO 26262 (for automotive) or IEC 61508 (for industrial applications).
Contribute to the safety management activities such as Safety Plan, Safety Case, and the definition and derivation of safety requirement throughout the lifecycle. You will perform safety analysis such as DFMEA, DFA and FTA to support the safety architecture definition.
Work closely with design teams to implement safety features and validate their efficiency, ensuring the system functions within acceptable safety limits even in case of failures.
You will help the team to continuously improving development processes, achieving efficiency, robustness and excellence across Arm solutions, hardware, and software.
Required Skills and Experience:
Extensive knowledge of safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards such as ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 61508, ASPICE, or similar, and their application across the semiconductor lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with safety analysis techniques such as FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), and DFA (Design Failure Analysis). Able to perform risk assessments and fault tree analysis based on system architecture.
Familiarity with semiconductor and SoC development, including design principles, methodologies, and tools used in both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
Working knowledge of RTL design and verification, with experience using RTL development tools and a solid understanding of digital design concepts.
Ability to manage SOC safety-related activities within project timelines and budgets.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in cross-functional teams.
"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with SOC Architecture for Automotive use cases, ADAS, IVI and Autonomous driving Level 2, 3 and 5.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.
Prepared to challenge the status quo constructively at senior level.

Salary Range:$241,100-$326,100 per year We value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
