Job Summary



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Senior Manager, Sponsorships. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of activating Group 1001's TBA naming rights partnership, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of a large number of high-profile company-sponsored events and activations (i.e. all Group 1001 IndyCar and NASCAR racing, Gainbridge Fieldhouse events, F1 Miami Grand Prix, Indy 500, Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, The ANNIKA [LPGA], Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, etc.)


The Senior Manager of Sponsorships will report to the Director of Sponsorships. The person in the position will provide support for the strategic and tactical direction and oversight of the company's sponsorship marketing activations.



Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute sponsorship and engagement marketing plans aligned with brand objectives and target audience insights.

  • Strategic planning to create compelling activation strategies.

  • Project Management to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship campaigns to ensure successful delivery on-time and on-budget

  • Work with external agencies and sponsors to maximize value of partnerships.

  • Develop and manage activation budget to accurately forecast and track expenditures

  • Track and analyze sponsorship effectiveness using data-driven insights.

  • Develop post event reports and case studies to guide future strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sponsorship and engagement initiatives into broader marketing and business strategies.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork




Qualifications:



  • B.A. in Business Administration or Sports Marketing/Management. Advanced degrees a plus.

  • 7-10 years with a combination of event operations, sponsorships management and marketing experience within the sports and entertainment industry from the brand, agency and/or team side. Background in data analytics a plus.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Frequent travel within the U.S. and opportunity for occasional international travel.




Work Location:



This is a hybrid position based out of our Zionsville, IN, office located at 10555 Group 1001 Way. We are seeking candidates local to the Indianapolis metro area and willing to commute to that office on a regular basis.
