Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Sales & Service Technician Location: Detroit, MI or Toledo, OH area Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Sales & Service Technician to join our team! The Sales & Service Technician will work within the framework of the National Automation Service Network on the phone, online, and at customer sites to repair, maintain, and enhance cutting machine and robotic welding operations. The Sales & Service Technician partners with customer end user locations conducting repairs and maintenance. Sales & Service Technicians evaluate efficiencies of customers' current equipment and offer recommendations for improvements, including expansion capabilities. This Sales & Service Technician supports primarily the Midwestern geographic region with travel as required to other regions in the United States when another regional resource is unavailable. What we offer you! • Competitive compensation • Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision and more) • 401(k) retirement savings plan • Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) • Employee discount programs • Career growth opportunities What you will be doing: - Analyzes customers machines at their site to diagnosis problems and independently recommend solutions via service or equipment sales - Surveys customers machines to establish a base line on existing efficiencies, analyzes potential productivity gains and savings, presents to customer and independently implements - Installs new machines to meet manufactures installation standards - Works with National Market Manager(s) to propose new machines to existing and new customer base - Ensures equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are complete - Provides monthly reporting of activities and billings to National Automation Service Manager - Attends service trainings as required to stay up to date on the latest technologies and offerings - Works within a team atmosphere with other regional technicians - Other duties as assigned Linde offers the following to qualified Sales & Service Technicians; competitive salary, 401K, full benefits, tuition reimbursement, company car, laptop, phone, power and hand tools, company card for travel expenses, and Ipad for service form completion.
