Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in construction law and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters, collaborate with experienced attorneys, and contribute to the success of our clients. The firm's practice is a good mix of litigation and transactional work, providing a well-rounded experience.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on construction law issues.
Draft and review contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on construction-related matters.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and management.
Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Stay updated on changes in construction law and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
2-4 years of experience in construction law or related field preferred.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
