About the Role: As an Automation Engineer with a background in Cyber/Disaster Recovery and Resiliency, you will focus on developing and enhancing disaster recovery and resiliency strategies for the regional Engineering division.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage reporting tools for disaster recovery and resiliency metrics.
  
  


• Work closely with Technology Infrastructure, Risk Management, and application development stakeholders.
  
  


• Streamline and automate manual processes in disaster recovery and cyber resiliency.
  
  


• Manage the reporting function across various cyber programs including RTA, RPA, immutability, and testing.
  
  


• Build and maintain Python reports in a GitLab repository adhering to SDLC controls.
  
  


• Identify gaps in processes and enhance procedures.
  
  


• Provide guidance to application owners on recovery procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
  
  


• Minimum 3 years of experience in Python, PowerShell, or other programming languages.
  
  


• Experience with pandas, Numpy, and requests.
  
  


• Strong data analysis skills.
  
  


• Understanding of CI/CD tools, Git, and GitLab.
  
  


• Ability to target and retrieve information from API endpoints.
  
  


• Understanding of authentication within Python.
  
  


• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  
  


• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  
  


• Proficient in Excel and data manipulation using Excel formulas.
  
  


• Self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability.
  
  


• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.
  
  


• Strong process and project management skills.
  
  


• Ability to explain technical reports to stakeholders.
  
  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  


• Strong influencing skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior leadership, colleagues, and clients.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in Python, PowerShell, or other programming languages.
  
  


• Understanding of disaster recovery procedures.
  
  


• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, GitLab pipelines, and automated testing.
  
  


• Understanding of Test Driven Development.
  
  


• Knowledge of RTO, RPO, and DR metrics.
  
  


• Background in cyber attack recovery.
  
  


• Experience in building a disaster recovery program.
  
  


• Understanding of various Excel formulas for data manipulation.
  
  


• Experience in Technology Risk domains (information security, business continuity, technology resilience, controls monitoring, risk assurance, risk governance).
  
  


• Prior experience as a System Administrator or Application support role.
  
  


• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues and provide remediation solutions.
