What you will bring to the role:



  • Team Management: Managing a team of 40 hourly assembly technicians, electronic technicians, team leads, and a supervisor. Incorporating high-performing workplace techniques into performance management activities fosters a motivated and productive team.

  • Scheduling Coordination: Coordinating weekly and quarterly manufacturing schedules to ensure timely production and delivery.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that current and proposed manufacturing procedures and activities conform to the company's quality management system and meet customer quality requirements.

  • Strategic Objectives: Creating annual line-of-sight objectives for manufacturing, linking outcomes directly to the achievement of company goals.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring department employees are aware of and adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures. Ensuring that other employees, contractors, temporary employees, and visitors follow these procedures while present in the manufacturing facility.

  • Budget Management: Managing department expense budgets and capital budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality and product shipment targets.

  • Performance Monitoring: Creating and monitoring manufacturing performance indicators, building reports, presenting to senior management, and conducting routine staff meetings to share performance with manufacturing employees.

  • Optimization: Identifying methods to optimize time, labor, and materials, driving efficiency and productivity.

  • Employee Development: Ensuring employee reviews and appraisals occur, administering merit increases, and performance-based bonuses (PBP) each review period
