System Test Analyst - Technical at Horizontal Talent in Golden Valley, Minnesota

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a System Test Analyst to join our innovative team on a 3-month contract-to-hire basis. You'll be working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the successful implementation of complex insurance products.
Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of complex insurance and annuity product features and requirements
• Analyze and solve complex problems, focusing on business functionality, sustainability, and scalability
• Develop and maintain validation tools for product testing
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to execute tests effectively
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in lower and production environments
• Provide expertise on system functionality to stakeholders
• Gain product knowledge across all lines of business
• Work within an Agile environment to ensure timely product delivery
• Communicate effectively with various teams and third-party vendors to enhance efficiency

Skills

• Strong understanding of Life and Annuities product rules and business processes
• Experience in testing Life and Annuities products with a Policy Administration System
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to write simple queries
• Advocate of Agile methodologies and practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ALIP Product Configuration
• Background in technical disciplines such as engineering, business, actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or related fields
