Role Summary
The Conflicts Analyst is a member of the Business Acceptance-Conflicts team, which is responsible for performing global conflicts checks. This role is critical in maintaining the firm's compliance standards, working with partners and associates on various conflicts queries, and working to protect and enhance overall firm security. Successful incumbents must work well under pressure, respond in a timely manner to all requests, effectively manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality results. This position will routinely communicate with partners, other lawyers, and business staff across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Provide partners with meaningful and concise conflicts reports with analytical reviews for their final approval.
Identify potential conflicts issues and assist in conflicts resolutions.
Perform corporate research on all entities provided in the conflicts check request.
Perform the research and analysis of conflicts checks submitted in the Intapp database.
Respond to inquiries about the context of conflicts reports and provide guidance to partners in interpreting this information.
Assist in maintaining the integrity of the new business intake workflow and the conflicts database by verifying information on the new client/matter forms.
Coordinate the running of large-scale conflicts checks and other special projects.
Assist with ad hoc requests, as needed.
Building and developing relationships with key partners, business services professionals, and other key practice members.
Assisting with the drafting of conflicts waivers.
Exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills in relation to conflicts check requests and if needed, collaborating with Conflicts Attorneys and In-House Attorneys to resolve potential conflicts.
Liaising with support departments such as Finance and Business Development at appropriate stages of the new business intake process.

Education & Experience
College degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of prior law firm experience.
Conflicts checking experience required.

Flexibility to cover weekend shifts on a work-from-home basis as needed.
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed.
