The Quality Assurance Snr Associate will play a key part in the successful implementation of QA activities within development/delivery teams, in order to assure the production of quality software. The role collaborates closely with all areas of Engineering, and other global teams (e.g., BAs, Change), to develop and implement processes for engineering, including metrics to gain insight into areas for improvement. Report on the testing quality and processes, drive initiatives to improve. The QA Snr Associate reports to the Risk & QA Associate Director, Stoxx Engineering.

The right candidate must be able to understand and assess software and product quality risks, build relationships with diverse stakeholders, influence change across the organization, prioritize issues and escalate appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Quality Assurance principles

  • Work with Engineering teams to develop and implement quality assurance strategies in line with the QA Framework

  • Support the teams to implement effective testing procedures and best practices

  • Diagnose, document and correct quality complaints and issues

  • Oversee testing of software products to verify adherence to quality standards

  • Share knowledge on best practices for test automation and test management

  • Ensure the team create tests that address organizational priorities

  • Collate and report on SDLC quality metrics and process KPI for analysis to identify areas of process improvement

  • Support teams on process improvements to enhance SDLC quality outcome

  • Drive change and improvement in performance and quality

  • Coach others in the quality best practices

  • Work with Stakeholders to ensure that feedback from users is forthcoming and drives the QA agenda

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems technology or software engineering

  • Software Quality Management certification

  • Expert knowledge of QA methods and tools, and testing practices

  • Automation testing frameworks expertise

  • Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and clear communication skills

  • 5+ years’ experience working in QA environments

  • Self-motivated, with a track record of improving test processes and coverage

  • Flexible, and able to effectively prioritise and schedule across multiple projects

  • Methodical and rigorous, with a logical approach to problem solving

  • Strong team and stakeholder management, problem solver, a self-sufficient individual with an ability to be constructively address issues.

  • Able to work on multiple initiatives at once, prioritizing effectively.

  • Collaborative skills with the ability to work across disciplines ensuring collective accountability and individual responsibility for task ownership.

  • Effective communicator, sharing insight that translates technical concepts into clear and understandable language
