JOB SUMMARY:
The Material Handler position is responsible for preparing for customers by placing parts on the pallet. Must be able to read and interpret a manufacturing drawing, some exposure to RF gen scanning, basic math's skills, can be crossed trained to other materials handling functions.
II.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Review, audit and place parts on the pallet for customer orders.
· Confirm piece counts.
· Confirm dimensions of parts to part specifications, by viewing blueprint.
· Scan parts for shipping.
· Input scrap into the system.
· May move pallets to designated locations by operating a forklift.
· Will occasionally lift and carry from 5 to 40 lbs. within 3 to 10 ft.
· Will occasionally push and pull 40 to 50 lbs of parts on manual pallet jack within 10 to15 ft.
· Consistently deliver the best in customer service. As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors, and other employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education:
High School level of knowledge
Experience:
Read and interpret manufacturing drawings
RF Gen Scanning
Basic Math
Ability to be cross trained on other functions
Skills:
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.
Ability to properly assess and prioritize tasks.
Must have the ability to lift 5 – 40 lbs. and push/pull 40 – 50 lbs.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Typical Working Conditions: (Describe environment including exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, allergens, mold, etc.)
Manufacturing warehouse environment with occasional temperature changes and frequent exposure to humidity/dry/dusty conditions and moving objects.
Equipment Used:

Wrapping Machine
Scrapping
Computer knowledge.

Occasional standing, walking, fingering, balancing, and trunk rotation

Occasionally push and pull 40 – 50 lbs of parts on manual pallet jack within 10 – 15 ft.
